Hey! My name is Ollie:) nice to meet you!

I currently live in Germany, Berlin, where I finish my masters in Ecology. This city allowed me to really open up myself to all the versatility of what life can offer, and embrace the open-mindedness and community spirit that have been some of my core values even more. I enjoy exploring alternative ways of building life, never taking things for granted, and do a good portion of critical deconstructing of what the conservative society has taught us to think, even if they had the best intentions in mind. I'm inspired by people who are ready to leave all the difficulties and troubles behind and just do what they want, despite anything or anyone. In people I admire bravery of spirit and pure kindness of heart, meanwhile I nurture these qualities in myself :)

The best part of travelling is meeting different people and discovering more about their ways of life, traditions and life views on the things that surround and unite all of us. Sharing is caring, it's true, and for me those are not empty words <3

Intereses

I am an environmentalist, a vegetarian/pescatarian, I love dancing, atm mostly colombian salsa and reggaeton, love playing games and sharing activites with people. I have quite a competitive spirit (not mean tho haha), which keeps my adrenaline and engagement high. Team sports like volleyball or paddle 2x2 are something that I do with lots of joy too.
In the cities I enjoy finding hidden corners telling the stories about the people who used to or are living in them now. I prefer focusing more on those, esp the underepresented communities or marginalised people, as their voices tend to be routinely sidelined in favor of those with wealth or power.
I love exploring local arts and music scene as well, not forgetting about the cuisine of course. I believe it's a manner of respect to life and people to be able to enjoy what we create <3
