About Me

CURRENT MISSION

the no plan plan-take everything as it comes one breath at a time

ABOUT ME

I am a pretty laid back and yet spontaneous person. I love to travel and explore new cultures. My first plane ride was when I was 4 and I haven't stopped since. I've lived abroad and currently am living in Texas. I work for myself which allows me the flexibility to travel and sleep in late.

PHILOSOPHY

Might as well live with no regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every time I meet someone from another country wherever I am living, I try and help. I remember what it's like to be a foreigner and there is nothing more wonderful than a welcoming stranger.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never CS before, but know tons of people who have. I look forward to trying it soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped a guy move his yacht up the Australian coast in exchange for the most incredible experience of my life. I saw the moon rise out of the water!

Teach, Learn, Share

When I came back from my gap year, I felt reawakened. After spending a year in corporate America, I was drained again. So I decided to move to Austin, Texas (never having been there and only going off of others opinions). The job that I was moving with, I lost on the way down. Nonetheless, I stuck through it. I decided that I would not work for anyone that could not accommodate my flexible schedule. I needed to have the flexibility to travel, and meet people throughout the day. Loe and behold, I ended up starting my own company and now I can do that for myself.

Lesson: If you stick with what you want, you will get it. Sometimes it's not exactly what you were thinking, but more often then not, it might be better!
