Hi! I am Olga and I am 26.
I graduated in Saint Petersburg state Polytechnical University. I worked as an engineer designer on electricity. My job liked me sometimes. But I wanted to travel!
I went to my Big Asian Trip on 10 December 2015, together with my husband!
We visited Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam and China! It was a great trip! And after that, my mind became more open.
I ‘m always open to new ideas and meeting new people,)

OUR FIRST CS EXPERIENCE.

The first host who took us was a hotelier from Jaipur, India. He gave us a room at his hotel for 2 nights. It was an interesting experiment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing is to meet new people and see the life of people from different countries.
I don't speak English very well so Couchsurfing is a chance to improve my English and to meet people studying Russian and help them,)

Interests

I wonder vegetarianism, volunteering, eco lifestyle, world politics, new people. And whether there is other life in the Universe!!?

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to Russian rock and roll and alternative music.
I like movies based on real events, the movies about travel, and every same Comedy movies. I love to review: "Into the wild", "love actually", "Harry Potter" (all parts). I won the series - "Game of thrones", "the big Bang Theory" and "Shameless".
My favorite book is "1984" D. Orwell, "Harry Potter" (all parts). I like many books from Russian classics, as well as British writer Irvine Welsh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a volunteer on the shares for the separate collection of garbage and cleaning parks, as well as assisted in the preparation of charity goods to disadvantaged families from areas of Russia.
I left the comfort of the familiar life and work for their dreams - to Travel!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook traditional Russian dishes for my Hosts!)
