I'm Olga, I'm a geographer from Russia and being wanderlust is the way I see the life.
Almost 15 years on Couchsurfing and it's never cease to amaze me. I kinda "old school couchsurfer" who truely believes in its mission and separates such things as CS and Tinder.
I've got my Master thesis on "Geography of Couchsurfing".
At the moment I'm based in Russia, organizing wine festivals across the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm travelling solo, I use CouchSurfing very often that helps me to get around new countries and get involved into local activities.

Interests

I do solo travel A LOT, and as a geographer I'm obsessed with foreign countries and cultures.
I am interested in any form of communication with locals who are willing to show the country from the inside and share the hidden gems becides general attractions.
I am eager to gain authentic impressions from visiting different places, exploring local gastronomy, and spending time in a meaningful way.

I'm good in languages (i'd like to think that I really am) and I would love to learn a bit of yours and teach you some Russian. I can cook some russian dishes (if I'll find ingredients :)
