About Me
Hi! I’m Olya 😊 Just finished unpacking my suitcase in Belgium after moving from Ukraine — still figuring out how to pronounce half the French words and where the best waffles are hiding 🧇🇧🇪
I’m love traveling ✈️ and meeting people with whom a casual conversation turns into something unforgettable ✨
On Couchsurfing, I’m not just looking for meetups — I’m here for the kind of moments that stay with you, like a favorite film photo 📸 or the scent of a fresh croissant on a quiet morning 🥐
If you also appreciate atmosphere, meaningful connections, and beautiful moments — let’s share a walk 🚶♀️, a coffee ☕, and a little slice of life 🌿
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To exchange experiences and enjoy meaningful conversations with open-minded, friendly people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Latin and Cuban music 🎺💃 — the kind that makes you feel alive and dance without thinking.
I’m also deeply moved by live symphonic music 🎻 — when it gives you chills and makes your soul vibrate.
When sadness sneaks in, my go-to comfort movie is «Bridget Jones’s Diary» 🎬 — it never fails to lift my mood and bring a little laugh (and maybe some ice cream too).
As for books 📚 — I enjoy reading about psychology. One of the most powerful reads lately was «The Body Keeps the Score» by Bessel van der Kolk. It changed the way I see emotions, trauma, and healing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left a stable life and a successful career to start from scratch in a new country.
