Hello,

I am a 21 year old student of Literature concocting half-baked philosophical ideas, a goof, a pseudo-artist, a traveller, a human who wants to devour as many diverse human interactions as possible.

I was born and raised in London, studied for two years at UEA in Norwich, spent a year abroad in San Francisco, and am now being a nomad, travelling haphazardly around North America and Mexico, heading back to bonny England on the 20th August 2015.

I am of the philosophy to try everything once: any experience - good, bad, irritating, hard, blissful, ephemeral - every experience presents an opportunity for one to learn something. If you are not growing, if you always live neatly in your comfort zone:
you are dead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing offers a sense of community, sharing, and trust that transcends any classification based upon wealth, class, race, or gender. It is a truly unique experience, and one that I feel is of upmost importance in our global society in which people tend to be fearful of the unknown. The warmth and generosity I have received from those who are essentially strangers has been overwhelming, and my faith in humanity has been restored.

Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet numerous strange and majestic characters who have been generous enough to invite me into their own individual idiosyncratic universes, whilst I have likewise invited them into my own. I see it as a symbiotic relationship of community and trust and inquisitiveness about the environment and people around us.

I have had an incredible journey so far, have heard some encapsulating tales, and have been forging tales of my own. I relish the opportunity to return even a microcosm of the generosity and love that has been sent my way back into the community and beyond.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can drive, cook, clean, look after children and pets, teach tennis, converse fluently and enthusiastically – help out in any way possible, spin a few tales over a home cooked meal.

Would love to travel round the city / town with whoever is kind enough to host me, but can equally find my own feet.
