My name is Olive Asi and I am currently living in New Zealand and wanting to make the transition to Gold coast to further my studies at NYFA and also find part time work. I am 25 years of age(26 in Dec) and ethnicity is Samoan.
I have traveled around the world a fare bit and hope to continue travelling after I finish my studies and work in Gold Coast. I am hoping that who ever I stay with while figuring out where my next home will be in Gold coast will fill blessed from having me in their home and that I can become of use while staying in their beautiful home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for a place to stay while studying in Gold Coast at Village roadshow NYFA. I don't arrive into Australia until the 27th June and would love it if I could get some great place to live near the beach while studying but until then I know I will need a couch to crash on until i find the right place to call home while I study and find part time work.

I love to try out new things and not shy of meeting new people.I tend to like to do a lot of sight seeing so any places you could recommend me to see while staying there would be great ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am generally open to different genres of music but I have to say I am shocking with the latest new new songs that come out lol. I have always believed I was always born in the wrong era lol I love the 90's-80's and 70's music and because of my faith background I do love gospel and christian music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess being able to get involved into community work and giving back to smaller communities that don't have much. I have been very humbled and blessed by peoples stories of struggle in areas that I have grown up in or visited and I have always had a passion to supporting those who don't have much and giving them a sense of hope in their lives.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share big huggs, PHAT LAUGHS, teach you some Samoan words and also maybe how to write your first poem or two.
I am generally chilled and have grown up in a cutlure where sharing is VERY VERY caring lol.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am able to share my humor,life story,cheeezzzzey smile and also great cleaning skills that have never seemed to fail me in the past when meeting and living with new people ;-) I have to say I can make do with what I get and always know that common sense and respect goes along way. I hope that I can create a light in every place I go to ;-)
