About Me

Hi Surfers!

Being a naturally curious person, I enjoy nothing more than meeting people from all around the world, sharing a drink (or two) and generally creating moments to remember. I enjoy the company of people who are open-minded, curious and ambitious.

A favourite quote of mine that I found online and now use as a mantra and rationale behind my avid curiosity reads as follows:

"The realisation that every passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own" - John Koening.

Overall, I love to travel (often desire takes me to obsure places) and meet new faces. My goal is to visit all continents of the world, of which I'm currently on 4/7.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To immerse myself into others' cultures, cuisines and lifestyles. In my day-to-day job I meet people from all around the world - so to me, Couchsurfing is a way of extending this to my personal life.

I'm happy to meet, chat, advise and help fellow explorers where possible!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like an eclectic mix of music, being a musician, music to me is separated into two categories - the music I like to play - and the music I like to hear. For the latter, I enjoy many forms of early Jazz, Northern Soul, House, Electronic Dance, Acoustic and Classical... I told you it was eclectic!

Favourite book to date: Insomniac City by Bill Hayes (highly recommend to all those who like to get lost in a book about city life and finding beauty in the small things and meeting 'strangers' along the way).

Favourite movie to date: A foreign film of which I don't remember the title of...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learnt to play the piano - very therapeutic!
