Overview
About Me
I live on a small urban homestead with the lovely Raquel and our son Ezra, with chickens, rabbits and lots of plants! If you're passing through Provo, we have a greenhouse loft, the lounge of a four story treehouse, and a gypsy vardo (and a couple other lofts) that are sometimes available to stay in.
I am an avid outdoors person, I walk, rock climb, bicycle tour, hike, garden, etc. I work as an artist, architect and permaculturalist focusing on ecologically oriented projects. I'm a deep thinker, a conversationalist, a pragmatic dreamer, and an artist. And I'm involved in any and all local resource oriented projects, including the local farmer and their markets, alternative modes of transport and our local fibershed community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet local people as I travel, and get to know the real spirit of the places I go. We have hosted bicycle tourists through warmshowers.org and have made many good friends by doing so. I love the ethic of hospitality, as with the rule of xenia in Crete, I believe that the words stranger, guest, and friend are more often than not synonymous.
