Hi! I‘m Oliver :) I love to get to know people. I live in a studio in Tübingen, South Germany and like to welcome visitors, and of course I‘d love to see great parts of the world. Originally I am from Berlin.

Professions I once aspired include author, screenwriter, cook, restaurant critic, musician, journalist, ghostwriter, lawyer and pirate (That’s not the chronological order). None of it has worked out (yet!), but I guess I‘m a tiny bit of all that now ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I‘ve got a place to stay to offer and enough space. And as a traveller, I think it‘s one of the nicest ways to get to know places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered for the Reykjavik International Film Festival. One day, the ticket system broke down. Facing hundreds of customers, a fellow and I decided to produce the tickets ourselves - cut from blank sheets of paper, handwritten with all important information, little individual drawings and personal nice wishes, laminated in the end. It was great fun and exhaustion at the same time. Later, some Icelanders told us that we were the talk of the town for that very day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some guitar skills, basic dancing steps (Salsa, ballroom dances) and creative writing maybe :)
Of course I can show you the town of Tübingen (or Berlin, when I‘m there).
