I've lived in Toronto all of my life, I've wanted to travel but the opportunities haven't presented themselves, and I haven't actually tried to hard to make them - but next best thing is to invite strangers over. I'm in between things, like I imagine more and more people are - in between school and whatever comes after school. In between the family I come from and the family I gather. In between myself and myself - that's basically nonsense. I'm online - in between here and there. I'm on this site basically for something unexpected

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was curious about this site when I first heard about it years ago, but forgot about it until today, when a friend on Facebook said he was hosting a coachsufer and asked for suggestions - what do you do in Toronto? I wouldn't suggest the tourist sites, like the CN tower - it's just more commercial junk. Cool, but empty. I suggested some neighborhoods and bars instead
