I'd reached the 4th year of my bachelors degree (engineering and science) in Melbourne when I was fortunate enough to get accepted into an exchange program at Purdue, IN for engineering. I have loved living in Indiana for the past 6 months. Inevitably, the travel bug came knocking and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to travel around the beautiful USA.

Traveling has always played a big part in my life and I've met some amazing people along the way and hopefully set to meet some more amazing people yet.

I couldn't leave my time studying in the USA without doing the classic road trip. I've bought a car over here and have plans to travel all over the West/East coast in the next six months, hitting as many iconic cities and National Parks as I can squeeze in.

I love experiencing new places, especially after getting a locals take/ recommendations of things to explore. I also relish in hosting people in Melbourne, and my doors are open as soon as I move back.

Meeting new people makes life much more interesting, and couchsurfing seems the perfect forum for that.

A question that requires a lot of thought, and to put down one 'favourite' does the plethora others an injustice. I love most types of music, any book I can get my hands on and I'm a bit of a movie nut.

That being said... Pink Floyd is the shit. And anything by Kurt Vonnegut. And The Simpsons basically raised me.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I had the great fortune of learning to scuba dive on Utila, a little island of Honduras. Exploring the reef there, floating along with the marine life was a surreal experience.
