Hey, ciao, hola! I’m from the UK but I lived the past year in barcelona, teaching English to kids and adults. I love green grass, olive groves, vinyards, rivers, leafy forests, rocks, lakes, mountains, cats soaking up sun, monasteries, beaches, cheese, sail boats and good food and wine- thank god Europe is full of these things. I’m easy going, interested in cuisine, reading, walking, soaking up views. If there are some places you’re proud to know as a local, I’m your perfect companion!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I adore being European, (I’m holding onto that right as long as possible) because it means I can have each meal of the day in a different country and meet so many people from all sorts of cultures in our small european playground. Couchsurfing seems like a cool way to meet these people :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Llevo un año viviendo en barcelona y ya tengo de ponerme en marcha. Soy inglés hablante pero también puedo defenderme en castellano y entenc la majoria de català també! I would love to practice my Castellano and català this summer.

I also want to learn as much of the Romance languages as possible, if you can teach me some Italian, french, if we can practice my castellano, I’d be delighted.

I particularly want to learn Russian and learn more about french literature, so I'm very interested if these are languages/cultures you know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a good cook- although I’m planning on going to Italy and I know my cooking will seem much less impressive there. Well at least I bake excellent cakes and tarts and I’m very useful and a quick learner.

I love singing and am always ready for a sing song if that’s your thing…

I’m a good help around the house with cleaning, tidying, generally helping out etc
