I'm a college student in Portland, Oregon trying to see the universe. I'm studying physics, but I'm also interesting in biology, anthropology, engineering, and really most things - I think the world is huge and confusing, and I want to find as many ways of understanding it as possible. I'm in my school's environmental club, trying (badly) to learn guitar, reading books, and sometimes climbing on roofs. I have a small plant named Emmanuel, but he doesn't usually come with me on my travels. I'd love any chance I can get to meet new people and see new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend David was moved to a later flight this summer and was given enough money for two plane tickets, so we're making the absolute most of it by flying into Iceland, then into Denmark and taking buses to Sweden and Germany over fall break. We don't have a lot of money, and we'd love to stay with people and make connections and host people when we get back to Portland, so this seems like the perfect thing!
