By living in Freiburg (south of Germany), I learned to love nature, and I enjoy every minute I can spend in it. Fortunately, it is very easy to go walking around in the black forest, go sailing at the closest lake or go skiing in winter.

When I am not outside, I prefer reading books or enjoy listening to or doing music. I play the violin and I am eager to learn many more instruments (I tried to teach myself to play the piano, but kind of failed...)

However, most of the time is taken up by my studies of law. I am in the middle of the studies, which is quite a busy time. Still, I try to spend enough time traveling, to encounter new cultures and see new landscapes. I find it very interesting, to meet the people of the particular culture - that's the best way to get an insight into the culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting the people living in a country is one of the best ways to get an authentic inside into the culture. Also, it makes each trip so much more exiting and unique.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are too many good books to narrow them down - still I prefer Fantasy or a good classic novel (though I am always willing to read books that are recommended to me, no matter the genre).
Same with music - I've been to a few music festivals, where I always got inspired to listen to new stuff.
