I'm Olivia. I'm a 24 year old solo backpacker from the UK. I graduated from university in 2016 and I have been travelling around Asia since April 2017. I am hitchhiking my way around South Korea and I'm so happy to be exploring another beautiful part of the world! 😊

After backpacking for a while now, I think couchsurfing is an interesting way to get off the main tourist travel route. I use this platform to enable me to truly experience different cultures and customs from a locals perspective, seeing the world through their native eyes, exploring lesser known areas, discovering snippets of wisdom and local quirks otherwise unobtainable. It's great way to share our cultural differences and make new friends all over the world!

I really like hiking and exploring new nature trails - a sunrise hike is my ideal start to the day! I enjoy practicing yoga, usually on a daily basis. Coffee is a main component of my diet and I love cooking!

Hiking volcanoes and mountains at sunrise is always an epic way to start the day! Scuba diving through Japanese shipwrecks from WW2 was an incredible adventure. Trekking in the Annapurna region of Nepal for a month was transformative. Hitch hiking across Northern India, being involved with filming an advert and the next week attending a lecture by the Dalai Lama was beyond words!
