Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to travel the world without feeling like a tourist. I think the best way to explore a country and its culture is by meeting local people and learning through them.

I can't currently accept guests because I don't have my own place to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most genres of music, as cliché as that sounds, from opera to house. I guess right now I'm into anything I can dance to.
My favourite genre of movies are action and action-comedy, for example, the Die Hard series. I'm so tempted to list more.
As for books, I love classic and contemporary romance novels. I love manga, too, like Naruto; Liar Game; Deadman Wonderland; Wolfguy - Ookami no Monshou; King of Thorn etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've not really done anything amazing. I've almost drowned? And I had a pet squirrel for a few months before it fell in the toilet and drowned while we were out. Broke my heart...
Hmm I jumped into a river from a tree and fell backwards from a small waterfall (on purpose) during NCS The Challenge. This is unrelated to my near drowning experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a native speaker of English so I could teach the language to another.
I'm only a beginner but I could probably share a little of the Japanese language.
I can sight read piano sheet music and I can strum a tune on the guitar.
I would like to learn some of the language in the country I'm visiting.
I would like to discover where the best places are in the country/province I'm visiting.
