About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a 26 young woman coming from Italy to Germany. I have two other siblings, both younger than me, and a big family.
Since I was a little girl I have been surrounded by people: living in a large family I have learnt very early what does it mean sharing, caring, sacrifice and enjoy community life.
I have always had an inner call to discover more, a very big curiosity on how the world out of my tiny city is. Therefore, I started to travel alone when I was 17 going to Iceland for a month. Then, I spent my 4th of high school abroad in Taiwan, where I’ve learnt Chinese, and now I live in Germany where I am taking my internship.
As you can imagine I love travel, learn new cultures, experience new languages, sharing and talk about differences among people and countries. I am an open minded human, outgoing and extrovert (not too much tho, I respect boundaries) and curios about everything new to me.
I also love cooking so this could be a very nice give back from my Italian culinary skills :))
FUN THINGS ABOUT ME:
- when I visit new places I always make lists of what to visit and where to eat and drink, therefore you could both contribute and take advantages of my cute selections ahaha;
- I always carry an analog camera with me;
- I am not a morning person but neither a night one. I could potentially sleep forever.
CURRENT MISSION: nail my internship while discover Germany, learn the language and the culture, explore as much as I can and make a lot of connections
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was young I use to swap houses with my family as we are in five and traveling was expensive. Through the experience I had with them I understood these ways of traveling are truly fulfilling and enrich the journey even more.
As my curiosity always pushes me, I am looking forward to meet new people and discover the world by myself. I truly believe nowadays sharing is an incredible power, why not making it the standard?

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen a lot to music, different kinds, I grew up with my parents listening to Italian songwriters while traveling. I like movies, I love Tarantino, all Miyazaki’s, Nolan and Clint Eastwood and I always try to broaden the movies list more and more.
I could give suggestions of nice italian artists and I'd love to listen to local music ad well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- At 17 I went to Iceland for a month, living with 18 people coming from all over the world in a house in a botanical garden. I saw sunshine at 2am on the coast and sunrise at 6am. Was pretty amazing;
- At 18 I left for Taiwan where I have lived with two different families learning the culture and the language. Me and some friends did this taiwanese cosplay thing which was super fun;
- I took a 9 hours bus ride to say sorry to a friend;
- I was able to fundraise to access to a Silicon Valley fellowship program of two weeks by starting a project for young students.
- ...I still have a lot to do
