ABOUT ME

I am an artist using photography, video and starting to use sound, and a freelance photographer and retoucher commercially. Born as a French-Jamaican, I feel more like a Londoner now, as I've lived there 11 years. I have worked for several London based charities as a photographer and a volunteer for the last 6 years, and am currently travelling around South America to meet new groups and create links between the different groups I have been involved with in Europe, if possible. I'm also very interested in electronic and experimental music and art, and in people challenging our perception of the world through creative and social mediums.
I also really enjoy being in the coutryside: walking and trekking, swimming and sitting on the beach, and I'm generally up for having a good time and meeting other people.

PHILOSOPHY

I wish to create art that can broaden people's perspectives about the world they live in, this is what drives me the most at the moment, and I hope to be able to combine this with my interest in working with charities, as both a professional and a volunteer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have always lived in shared flats in London, where the living room is always open to anyone who needs a temporary home. This is my first long trip across a new continent, so I'm hoping I can be a couch surfer before I offer a couch! And I look forward to welcoming people once I am back home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the first time I am going to use Couch Surfing, as I've always stayed at friends or friends of friends.. or sometimes 'random' people I met on a trip, which was always really nice and much appreciated. I look forward to the experience.
