ABOUT ME

I am the traditional NorthWest girl (grown in Portland, Oregon). I studied Nursing at University of Central Florida in Orlando. It was a great 4 years! Moved to Denver to start my first job in September 2013. My husband and I moved to Melbourne, Australia in January 2017. I spent a summer working in Alaska in 2018. And now we are based in Denver Colorado and I am doing my dream job as a Flight Nurse.

I've traveled some (but never enough) and I absolutely love the outdoors. I hike and rock climb and backcountry ski. Camping among friends and wildlife after a hard day of activity is where I am truly happiest.

I LOVE to meet new people and learn anything. I think there is always something to learn from everyone. I love couchsurfing so shoot me a personal message and Id love to meet you!

I have hosted a few surfers and loved every minute of it! Its been a while since Ive hosted or surfed but I love the commonality it gives people and the ability to be instant friends! Its perfect for networking and discovering places you've never even been yet! I have loved my experiences with it so far.

I love putting a lot of effort towards something and when you reach that peak it feels so sweet.

I love trying things Ive never done before. I have an appreciation for a vast array of things from sports to theatre so everything interests me! I believe you can learn something from anyone and learning is SO important. I want to use the full capacity of my mind. teach me something!

I love any music I can dance too. Mostly Inde style: Wax Tailor, Anwolnation, Imagine Dragons, Beats Antique. But I certainly love me some EDM.

The Jungles of Peru captivated me last October when I visited. the noises and colors were so close and stimulating to all the senses.

Nursing volunteering in Africa was also a wonderful learning opportunity for me. Certainly expanded my perspectives.

We really just arrived in Melbourne and can't wait to see all the surrounding areas and details within the city. Plan on lots of day trips!
