I graduated from university about a year ago, and recently started my career in a management trainee program with a MNC. I grew up in Singapore, but am posted to Istanbul, Turkey for the next 6 months till June 2017. I spent a good portion of my university days living and traveling across the world, and meeting many amazing people from all walks of life. I love it and have no intention of stopping :)

I've lived in The States, Estonia, Israel and the Philippines. Would love to meet up with people from these countries (or anywhere actually!) or any local Turkish (please teach me Turkish, thank you!). I've traveled to almost 40 countries, and have made it my mission to visit every country.

I'm moving into an apartment in Atasheir soon, so I will be willing to host travelers. Would also love to meet up with anyone who has interesting stories to share over a meal or drinks! :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed a couple of times when I was a poor student traveling across Europe. I had a great experience meeting new people, and was very grateful at the hospitality provided by this community! Now that I'm working and don't have the luxury of time to travel, I would still like to be a part of this community and to give back to it.

Also, it gets rather quiet and boring in an apartment all alone :)

I've recently developed a passion for martial arts, Muay Thai specifically. I used to train in Singapore before I left for Istanbul, but have not found a good Muay Thai gym here. Would really appreciate some recommendations!

I grew up with music, so I love to sing, play the guitar, piano, and drums (just a little). Would love to jam sometime!

I also have a passion for entrepreneurship. I love the process of creating and building, and seeing something I love take shape. I interned at a travel startup for 6 months in Tel Aviv, Israel and I loved it. I dream of having my own travel startup and social enterprise in the future.

Other than that, I enjoy water sports like scuba diving (advanced certified yay!) and windsurfing, and really really love the ocean. Talk to me about my adventures in the water and I'll get really excited! :) I also enjoy meeting new people, reading, and doing anything that opens my heart and mind and makes me a better person.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done a couple of things that I'll never ever forget - skydive! Scuba dive with sharks, swam with hugeee whale sharks in the open ocean. Hiked some beautiful mountains in the Philippines. Volunteered with a community in Manila. And many more!
