I'm husband & father of a family of 5. I work as an IT coach for different customers and travel many kilometers on my motorbike for that.

In the weekends I teach Aikido to the Ken Gyu kids class. I like to play board games a lot. I'm also the default gamemaster of a D&D 3.5 roleplaying group.

I like eating and on holidays I like to go camping. Once every year a lot of the above gets combined in an aikido stage on a camping in the south of France.

I often travel for conferences. I then stay at hotels. Which usually aren't inspiring environments.

When looking for a place to stay in Bodegraven, I suddenly remembered a girl I met at the XP-days conference that mentioned 'couchsurfing'. In the end, she ended up on our couch. And I thought why not try it myself.

My family isn't sure yet about receiving guests :-)

My old time favorite is 'Dance Cleopatra' from Prince Buster. More recent: 'Monkey' from Princess Chelsea.

In movies I like good dialogues. Playing with language. eg. Tarantino. A very local movie is the Flemish 'Frits & Freddy'. My family & I quote dialogues from the movie all day long :-)

In books I often look for history or folklore.
