I'm French but I've been living abroad for the past 5 years.. in Beirut, Lebanon, where I work.
I love... plenty of thing ! Life to start with, meeting nice people, laugh, having fun, traveling, discovering new things, country, culture, places... I love good books, good movies, good parties, sports. Well... I'm not going to bore you with the listing of all the things I like or I'd like to do !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well... I love to meet people, discover new cultures... I've been packpacking for ages because of this. So... couchsurfing fits perfectly !
While traveling I've always invited the people I had met to visit me afterwards. Great experiences always, so... my door is pretty open !

Interests

Travelling, meeting new people, sharing great moments, reading, watching good movies, going out, doing sports (diving, climbing, rafting, boxing, caving, hiking... almost anything which is not soccer ;), learning languages.
I love my job too ! I've been teaching for a while, age 11-18... best job ever (and... let's face it... math is the new cool ;))))

I love old hip hop stuff. I grew up listening to it... Public Enemy, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Ice T, BDP, Eric B and Rakim, EPMD... all this kind of stuff.
Black music in general : jazz, soul, funk...
I like salsa, electro esp electroswing.

Movies I love... too many to list them... Well I guess "True Romance" is part of the top 5. The other Tarentino movies (he wrote True Romance script).
Little miss sunshine, 12 angry men, in the heat of the night, fight club (almost of D. Fincher movie anyway), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, the Scorcese's movies, The Usual Suspects, Leon The professional, American History X, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the Monty Python....
International movies : Omar, Wajda, Syngué Sabour, Taare zameen par, a separation, The Lives of Others, city of God, intouchables, Amelie...

Books... good black detective novels (Ellroy), Stevenson, Dumas, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Dickens, Oscar Wilde, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Call me stupid but I find plenty of pleasure in tiny little things in my life. A good chat with a friend, a great book, a beautiful landscape, a good party... I don't know if I've done amazing stuff but I do think life is amazing.
I've had the luck to backpack quite a bit in more than 70 countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach for a living : math, computing sciences and, every now and then, scuba-diving but... truth is I love to learn !
I'm always registered in too many online courses that I never have time to finish but that how eager I am to discover new stuff.
