About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Save the world, but not today..Today, I'am looking for a new travel !

ABOUT ME

Well, look what we have here ! A curious couchsufer !

Well here is what you are looking for..

My name is Olivier, and I am a 23 years old french engineer, working in Brussels for a Japanese car manufacturer... (For sure, nobody will find out !)

I like wine (I said "French", remember?), traveling and unicorns, but mostly traveling.
For the moment, I am focusing in European countries because of flight availabilities and budget reasons, but I also had the opportunity to go to Singapore for 4 months and in USA (West coast).

My imaginary friends say that I am brillant, handsome, funny and rich. My real friends say that I am open mind, always smiling, and not rich enough to be funny or handsome.

For more practical details:
I quit smoking few years ago, and therefore I am a non smoker but I don't mind if you do (that's your lungs),

I don't have pets but I don't mind if you have some ( exept if you are a 45 years old single woman with more than 17 cats...that is freaking me out...)

I am not gay, but I don't mind if you are (always smiling, remember?)

I don't believe in Santa Claus, Easter eggs, and the tooth fairy, but if you do I can kiss you goodnight and read you a nice story..

PHILOSOPHY

I live by the "American dream" concept:

If you are willing to, and if you work hard enough to, then you will succeed. You have to trust in yourself, because no one else will do it either. You don't get lucky, you make my own luck.

Your life is a result of the choices you make.. If you don't like your life, it is time to start making better choices

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to discover the world, on my own, with some friends, and even with you if you are willing to.

I will be glad to share a cup a coffee, large beer, shots of vodka or a coke with you.

Do not hesitate to leave me a message if you want some nice tips about the countries I have visited, and if you want google tips for the one I didn't.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted few persons in Montpellier and Brussels, and I have never been disapointed. Couples, friends, "forever alone" travelers, whatever as soon as you are willing to share a smile and a glass of wine, I am happy.

Regarding my personal experience, is "staying on the sofa watching dumb TV shows after heavy drinking night" a couchsurfing experience ?

Interests

Few years of Lam Son Vo Dao (google is your friend, but this is kind of martial art, with sneaky moves and flying kicks)

I like to watch a match of rugby, especially when Toulouse plays, even if I am not a real supporter...Actually, I am pretty sure that I use it as an excuse to drink beer.

Traveling is one of my biggest hobby, and I dedicate most of my free time -and salary - to visit and discover new countries and ways of life.

Then, I guess that spending some time to put the world to rights over a couple of drinks with my friends or with drunken strangers in the street is also something that I enjoy to do.
