ABOUT ME

My name’s Ollie, I’m 22 Years old and from Melbourne, Australia. I was born in Royal Tunbridge Wells, U.K., but have spent most of my life growing up on the Mornington Peninsula in the southeast outskirts of Melbourne. I'm a bubbly and energetic dude who spends a lot of time outdoors, with a passion for nature and conservation. I also have a keen interest in music, having played in bands for the past 5 years.

I've just moved to the U.K. to work and see where my feet fall, so I'm looking to make some new friends to show me around! I'm also looking to inspire myself and develop a new musical project.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to Couch Surfing, so hard question to answer! But me and my housemates host people under his Couch Surfing profile all the time in St. Kilda, Melbourne.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Perhaps the funniest experience was when a good friend of my housemates was playing a round of golf in Melbourne suburbs and he noticed a tent pitched in the bushes off the green. A closer inspection revealed 3 broke German backpackers who'd run out of money and were squatting (in the middle of winter mind you!) till they got a job.

Our mate put them in touch and they stayed with us for a few weeks till they got themselves up off the ground, and we had a rad time! Coolest dudes, they once climbed 4 stories up to our balcony because they lost their key to the flat.
