ABOUT ME

Heya peeps I am a twenty four year old, Christian, fun loving, adventure seeking guy who loves getting to know new people and exploring new places.

My brother also shares my profile because we share a house and most of our lives. He's not as cool as me but be nice to him ;).

When I finished high school I spent a year travelling the world and really enjoyed Africa so went back for another year later.

I'm currently studying paramedics and agriculture, its a good combination.

In July I'm hoping to go on exchange for a semester to New Caledonia and learn French. Afterwards I'd like sail to PNG, insha'Allah.

PHILOSOPHY

Thank God for the good things in life and don't worry about the bad. Let the future take care of itself and don't worry about what society expects of you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spent a couple of years travelling but only surfed a couple of times as I was a rather impromptu traveller, but loved the little that I did. Back in Australia I hosted a bunch with great experiences and many stories to tell. Also met people who have become really close friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited but loving the little I have done, great expectations for the future.

Interests

Hiking, skating, rock climbing, surfing, kayaking, fishing, snorkelling, skiing, sandboarding, cliff jumping, basically anything out doors :) Also love exploring new places, meeting people and hearing their stories and immersing myself into different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Winter Gypsy, The Decemberists, Bromham and all the other musics. James Michener is a favourite author and there's a book of traveller's tales by Eric Newby that you should read. Watch Babel and tell me what you think ;).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mt Stanley in DRC, having learnt mountaineering off you tube and spending the night before unwillingly colouring the snow.
