ABOUT ME
In 2022 my husband and I packed ourselves and our two cats and moved from Moscow to Munich to start a new life. I joined Couchsurfing as student, then offered my couch when got my own space and after 8 years return back in a new search for thoughtful conversations and sharing. I am in the process of discovering the wisdom of life and every connection with other people unlocks new thoughts.
I love a good deep conversation, singing with friends with a guitar, walking, hiking to observe the eternity of the nature. Oh, yes, 15 years ago I wanted to become a teacher of German - long time has passed, but still keep this love for languages :)

My husband Alex loves a good book and a nice conversation too. And both of us are passionate cat/pet lovers, practicing cat sitting, more for fun

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As student I used CS for accommodation, later when hosting - for new experiences and a good encounter (it was indeed!). Now - rather to share experiences, have a good conversation and explore more

兴趣

There are so many things that I have tried: tennis and chess, bicycle and guitar, a bit of Latin, Indian and Arabic dances, singing and writing short novels, going to opera and giving language lessons. And I continue exploring!

The Father - the deepest movie of the recent times. Marvellous Mrs Maisel - for smart humor.
From the older: One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Schindler's List, Scent of a Woman. All movies by Lars von Trier. I can see over and over again The Shawshank Redemption, Bridget Jones' Diary and The Ugly Truth (when the mood is especially bad))

My musical taste has widened a lot once I started singing myself. Russian rock at home gatherings when someone is playing guitar is a winner. In my current playlist are Stone Sour and Rammstein, Muse, Celine Dion, Adele, Sam Smith, Billie Eilish. I enjoy listening to my husband singing rock classics and Tom Jones

Books. In generalI liked Erich Maria Remarque, Mikhail Bulgakov, Fiodor Dostoyevskiy, Stefan Zweig - artefacts from the past.
The recent discoveries were Daniel Keyes (loved The Minds of Billy Milligan and Flowers for Algernon), Orhan Pamuk (very atmospheric), Fredrik Blackman (best teen literature). In ‘22 Sebastian Haffner’s Geschichte eines Deutsches resonated a lot. Currently reading The Spinoza problem.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Adopted first my cat (named Cat) and then my friend’s cat (Lutik).
Her mom was relocating but could not take Lutik with her. Though we had our own cat, I spontaneously offered to take care of Lutik at least for half a year… 2 years have passed and we settled that this guy stays with us as the cats got two good buddies
