About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a nice, sociable person. I have a lot of friends, mostly from artistic background. I try to visit all the current cultural events in the city and to meet as many interesting people as I can. And of course I take a lot of pictures. I like to travel a lot. Some day, someway I'm going to carry on with my studies, so now I am in a search of speciality.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is currently under construction, but I can express it as 'carpe diem' or 'catch the day'. I love the life happening now. The past is already past and the future is yet to come, so I enjoy what the present day brings me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Nizhniy Novgorod is an old city, definitely worth seeing and staying at when travelling across Russia. Unfortunately though it doesn't have any places to stay for travellers on budget / young backpackers. Thus, I believe that my offer will give an opportunity for some people to see this place. By the way, I know lots about the history and cultural life of my city and can be a good storyteller for my guests.

Bernardo Bertolucci, Alain Resnais, Jean-Luc Godard, Theo Angelopoulos; James Joyce.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couple of years ago I did a hitchhiking tour across the European part of Russia from Nizhny Novgorod to Ekaterinburg. It was the first time in my life when I was so far from my home and could rely only on my own. I made great friends, I saw the life far away from home, had tons of amazing conversations with drivers and locals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the local and Russian history, Russian language and photography. I know some interesting things about hitchhiking and can tell you how to do it)
