Overview
About Me
I am a Russian Korean who lives in the US. I love traveling, but I have not done much traveling in a while. I hope I will be able to make more time to travel and meet more people. I'd love to visit Europe and Southeast Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I are traveling to Seoul, Korea and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia this September. Neither of us speaks Korean and we would love to meet someone from Seoul to help us get around. In September, we are staying with my grandma, but we have one night in Seoul between our flights home in October (2-3) and we thought we we want to find a couchsurf buddy. We could stay in a hotel, but staying a night with someone new in Korea sounds more exciting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love watching movies and some of my favorites are: Blood Diamond, The Shawshank Redemption, Meet Your Parents, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Bucket List, etc.
It's been a while since I read anything for pleasure. But my favorite authors are: Émile Zola, Jane Austen, Daniel Defoe, and Jules Verne.
I am not picky about music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This summer I finally learned how to swim. It took me years to overcome my fear of water.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Right now, I live with my in-laws, but when we have our own place (in a year or so), we should be able to accept guests. I can also share my experiences of living and studying in the US. I received my master's degree in the US.
