Life has taken me through relocations, uncertainties, and deep questions. After everything the world has been going through, I had to relearn how to live, how to trust people, and how to smile without a reason. Good news, it worked. I’m smiling again, and curious about the world, once more.

I am a teacher by heart and by profession, mostly working with elementary school kids. In a previous life (or so it feels), I lived and worked with indigenous communities in the Far North of Russia, where -50°C is not drama, just winter. So yes, I can explain fractions to children and survive in extreme cold. Very useful skills, just in case 😄

Currently, I am part of the World House program (conflict transformation initiative), where people from opposite sides of conflicts learn how to live together, talk instead of fight, and prove that dialogue is not useless, but necessary.

I believe people are much better than the news wants us to think. I believe conflicts can be transformed, not ignored. And I believe the world is not broken, it’s just in a very complicated learning process ✨

P.S. I try to make life as bright and curious as possible. My friends call me “the girl who is up for everything.” So if you suddenly decide to go somewhere at sunrise, cook a strange dish, have a deep 2 a.m. conversation, or start a slightly crazy adventure, I’m already putting on my shoes. Just don’t do it without me😉

I used to volunteer in different countries, ready to share the ways to find a project or just a nice stories about this experience. I managed to work as a teacher in 3 different countries, so we can talk about it as well. Also, working as a teacher I really improved my skills of love and acceptance.
