Hi! I’m Olyvia, I’m a 20 year old South African with a dad who believes that I had a “quarter life crisis” at the age of 18 because I unexpectedly announced one night at dinner that I’d be leaving everything I’ve ever known, and temporarily move to the US and travel for a few years. My dad though, being the great man that he is, supported my decision and helped me as much as possible with my attempt of doing something amazing with my life before it actually, properly started. And so here I am. I live with an awesome host family in the suburbs of Minnesota. I’ve been here since June 2017 and I’ve had the best time ever! I’ve tried to travel as much as possible even with how busy life here gets (I’m an aupair) I haven’t yet couch surfed but I’ve heard a ton of awesome reviews on it! I love being around people and sharing my culture and life as a South African!
