ABOUT ME

My name is Josh. I love music. I'm not sure yet, but I really want to write my own music and travel playing in small clubs for a while. I'm in college right now near NYC, I like it so far so I decided I'm going to finish that before I do any long term travels. I think I'd miss my friends too much.
But I am traveling during vacations and the summer and as I'll be studying for a semester in Germany, I figure I'll do some traveling then. I like to travel, but I discovered it's not just the traveling (you can wonder around an amazing city by yourself and be miserable) it's all about the people you're with, so I thought I'd join couchsurfing.
I'm open to pretty much anything and always have fun if I'm with good people.
I like to read, to write, play guitar, learn languages and talk philosophy.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to make friends in other countries with different cultures and bring that all back home with me. At the same time I bring with me my culture and experiences to share with who ever is willing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've WWOOFed, which is similar to couchsurfing but it entails work and is specific to organic farms. I worked in a village (Bazancourt) north of Paris for a few weeks on a dairy farm and a few weeks at a lama farm near Briancon France. I'm actually still at the lama farm and the experiences have been amazing! I'd recommend it for anyone open to new ideas and people!
