PHILOSOPHY - My ideology can be understood with a few simple quotes.
"Carpe Diem"
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't make."
"Why not"
"Joy wouldn't feel good if it wasn't for pain, sunny days would feel so special if it wasn't for rain."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New experiences, adventures, relationships, networking and connection

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I adore, respect and admire the community developed for travelers, adventures and the like minded inquisitors.

The community is not a "free place to sleep"
It is my understanding and motive that this community is for the guidance and support for travelers all around the world. This for me means that someone who may have not been able to comfortably explore a new country or city had it been for economic, social or procedural reasons, is now enticed to.

That being said.. I am on a budget (as we all are) but that just means with the money you're saving me on a hostel I will end up spending on my host anyway :)

I host when I'm home and surf when I travel..
and in exchange for allowing me to surf I will happily will cook and clean for you and/or any other task you'd like help with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*Update August 2015*
Deciding to quit my career, getting my passport and purchasing a one way ticket (a few weeks later) , (and another 2 weeks after) flying to a country I had just about no idea about and didn't know ANYONE for thousands upon thousands of miles.. (Norway) basically figuring out as I go but with the general idea of chasing the sunrise/moon (heading east) until I run out of money..
*So far I've been through Oslo, Noway; Stockholm, Sweden; Copenhagen, Denmark; Hamburg, Germany; Amsterdam, Holland; Brussels, Belguim; London, Somerset, Brighton Beach, Bournemouth Beach, Cheddar Gorge, England; Paris, France; Turin, Italy; Milan, Italy; then flying to my college friend from America to Eastern Europe (Chisinau, Moldova)..

The plan from here is to do a small loop around Eastern Europe, end in Istanbul, Turkey and then fly to Singapore, and make a loop around Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and wherever else I can hit with my budget.. eventually landing in Honolulu, Hawaii where I will settle down for a bit and start a new position in my career until I get the travel bug or end up settle on the west coast (Also the possibility I end up back home and settle there again)

*October 2013-2015*
Everything about Colorado, Road tripping the U.S. East coast to West coast and back for 3 months then a few years latter driving back to Colorado with a stop in Chicago and then driving back with a stop in St. Louis, MO

*Sept 2007*
I have this one amazing experience when I was in Folly Beach, Charleston, South Carolina I was on my Surfboard during the sunset and as I took in my surroundings I felt as though I had died and went to heaven it's an experience I can't even describe how intensely good if feels.. later I learned that's what many surfers call "Going to Church"
