About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to learn as much as possible and stay in one place as little as possible.

ABOUT ME

I'm a little shy at first, but that wears off pretty quick. I have a silly sense of humor and have been known to do some pretty outlandish things for a laugh.

Some of my favorite things include the beach, good tunes, good food, and good beer with good company. I strive to combine as many as possible of the above as often as possible, and am always thrilled to find new beaches, tunes, food, beer, and friends.

PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT live in BOSTON. Gloucester is about an hour train ride away, and a great place to visit in the summer, but I've had a lot of requests from people coming specifically for work or school and under the impression that I live much closer to the city, and my location isn't convenient for them after all. If I have the opportunity, though, I'm always happy to go into Boston for the day or evening.

PHILOSOPHY

"In its consciousness of infinity, the conscious being is conscious of the infinity of its own being." - Ludwig Feuerbach

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mainly participated by hosting so far. I love meeting other CouchSurfers and having company stay, and showing them around when I have the time. It's been an awesome experience, a lot of learning and laughing with every new encounter. I like to cook, too, so if I'm not too busy, you might get a good meal! If you stay with me, I'll take you to my favorite pubs and likely my favorite breakfast spot, and if it's your cup of tea, I can also take you to some really divey bars so you can really get a taste of the local flavor.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly hosted and it's been awesome! I've made great new friends. I host every chance I can!

A couple months after joining, meeting some other CouchSurfers and hearing their stories, I decided this was definitely for me. I went for it, bought a plane ticket and went on my first CouchSurfing adventure through Europe, hanging out with CSers in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Basel City and Cologne. What an incredible time! Discovering CouchSurfing has definitely gotten me to do many things I would not have otherwise.
