My name is Omar. Born in Sidi Fars Valley in the heart of the High Atlas Mountain range and when I was 10 years old I moved to a small town near the city of Marrakesh to continue my studies. After I graduated from high school I went to university and specialised in English. Since completing university I have worked for many different companies but my love of hiking in the mountains and my curiosity of other cultures lead me to change my career to that of a mountain guide.

Born and raised within a Berber community I am fluent in the native Berber language and but I am also proficient in conversational French, English and Arabic. I have worked for many years in the Tourism industry as a Tour Guide with several Tour Operators & Travel Agencies leading their groups around Morocco. I have worked with small groups of between 2 and 6 clients and larger groups of up to 30 clients, both adults and students.

Passionate about our homeland of Morocco and our Berber heritage and culture I'm happy to share my experiences and knowledge of my country with anyone who wants to know what Morocco has to offer. I am are able to provide you with a tremendous insight into the Kingdom of Morocco, its diverse culture coupled with some of the most contrasting scenery you are surely ever likely to see. I am experienced in all types of Tours & Treks around Morocco including the High Atlas Mountains, Sahara Desert and Imperial cities such as Marrakech. I can help you to organize your trekking adventures in the Atlas Mountains, providing mules, private cooks and accommodation which can allow you to explore the highest peaks in North Africa; private 4 x 4 vehicle tours and camel treks in the Sahara Desert and many others.
