Hi! My name is Omar. I am a 24 years old Master graduate in Energy Engineering in Milan with the aim to work in the renewable energy sector to contribute with my passion and knowledge in driving the world towards a sustainable development.
Even if months move forward from my graduation day, my wish to celebrate it with travels and new people has not expired yet and I am still full of energy!
I spent six months in Prague for studying and I totally got in love with the city, Czech culture and people and with the International environment also. I felt stunned when I realized that people raised so far and with a totally different culture were actually much more kindred to me than people I have been hanging for years.
That was a kind of turning point in my life and inspired the current passion of traveling to meet new people and growing wiser.
I am a very flexible person and my curiosity makes me always ready to embrace new habits and lifestyles. I ahve easy-going manner and it is difficult to cut the smile from my face :).
I have been playing sports since I was a child, starting as a soccer player and then attending swimming pool and gym courses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

History and architecture are fascinating, definitely. But in my view, visiting a city is a total experience made of places, tastes, anecdotes, and people that you will bring in your memories for a long time. And I believe that such experiences directly affect who we are and how we behave.
Couchsurfing is the best mean to fully enjoy the diversity you face when traveling, embrace it and get reacher. It works thanks to amazing people, which make available their private space and time to basically unknown people, just for sake of cultural exchange and solidarity. I love it, truely awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Planning that in two weeks I would have gone to Spain and worked there for a month, without knowing Spanish at all. How did I manage it? Still don't know. Let's meet at the end of my working period and I will tell you! Hopefully in Spanish, at least a bit XD.
Just come up to my mind that something similar already happened... I am afraid to be addicted to challenges!
