Hello Everybody, Welcome to my profile.

My name is Omar. I am originally from Egypt but I live now in Genova (Liguria, Italy). I am a postdoc researcher in cognitive robotics student. I am here in Couchsurfing to explore the different cultures, connect with people, learn new things, practice languages, and definitely help others. I am always looking for different experiences and new adventures. I liked the idea of this platform, I met really nice people from Couchsurfing, and I am keen to keep contributing to this community as much as I can.

I am a very energetic, easy-going, and cheerful guy I always like to move, work, discover, and do something new. Since I started to travel, my new friends always say to me that I am an extremely social person. They even call me the social butterfly :D :D I love being around people, talking with them, make new friends, discuss interesting topics, and learn from each other. I am an organized and arranged person.

Currently i am trying to learn photography. Now i am using my mobile which has fairly good adjustable camera. I can definitely give you a free unprofessional photo session 🤣🤣as i am still a beginner however i managed to get very nice shots. So hopefully you will like the photos i will take 😂. And of course i will be grateful to tell points to focus on to get a better images.

I am a sporty person. Since I was young, I practiced different sports. My best ever sport for me is the Greco-roman Olympic wrestling. Currently, I am doing CrossFit. The sports reflected on my daily activities with the since that I love any physical activity. I am always in for any physical activity whether for work or volunteering or leisure.
Riding horses is one of my biggest habits. I used to ride horses since I was 7 years old. I wish I got time to get the step to e professional.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here in Couchsurfing to help people exploring the beauty of the World, meet new people, and share experiences about the cities. I really like to talk and discuss about any topic. I am open-minded and I am free to talk about anything interested.
I also believe that meeting with different culture people is always helping to grow your mind.
