Overview
About Me
I’m an artist and drama therapist rooted in the Ruhrgebiet, shaped by both my Egyptian and German heritage; my friends would describe me as a curious soul, and deeply open-minded. I thrive on meaningful connections, creative expression, and everything that broadens my perspective of the world.
Traveling is my greatest passion ... not just for the places, but for the people, the stories, the food, the colors, and the cultures. I love immersing myself in unfamiliar environments, learning from different ways of life, and being challenged to grow in the process. Whether it's through deep conversations, shared meals, or spontaneous adventures, I find so much joy in discovering what makes each corner of the world unique.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in genuine human connection, cultural exchange, the beauty of shared experiences and ofc because the best way to explore a country is meeting its people! I love the idea of mutual hospitality; whether I’m hosting or being hosted, I see it as an opportunity to exchange stories, skills, laughs, and maybe even a little inspiration 🌍✨

Music, Movies, and Books
Game Of Thrones is my favourite :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was cycling all the way from Berlin to Lisbon; an unforgettable journey filled with challenge, beauty, and freedom. I also once climbed an active volcano in the Philippines, which was both thrilling and humbling. But what I’m most proud of is becoming the youngest diplomat and cultural attaché ever appointed in an EU Delegation — a role that allowed me to represent art, identity, and intercultural dialogue on a global level :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I truly believe in mutual exchange ... not just as guests or hosts, but as fellow humans sharing the journey. I’d be happy to share insights into drama therapy, and how art and performance can be powerful tools for healing and self-expression. Coming from Egyptian/German roots, I can also offer a few Arabic and German phrases, along with cultural perspectives from both Egypt and German life. I enjoy deep conversations around mental health, and cultural identity.
I'm always eager to learn about local customs, traditions, and hidden gems wherever I go. I’d love to hear your favorite songs, try your traditional dishes, and learn a few phrases in your language. I’m especially curious about how people in your community live, love, and celebrate, and I’m open to discovering new artistic expressions, crafts, or any creative forms that inspire you.
