CURRENT MISSION

Currently I'd like to see as much of the world as possible, but do so by not taking an overly beaten path. Someone told me if you do what you love for a living, you'll never work a day in your life, so I'm exploring the things I love.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty laid back person, and all about new experiences, meeting new people, and having good times. For me a good time can range from a nap in a hammock to sky diving, to good conversation at a coffee house. I'm not picky at all.

I've got a dog, and a cat, and job I love and another I don't like but is necessary for now (it makes travel and school possible).

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in getting to know your neighbors, and also that a neighbor extends far beyond the person next door. The world is in some serious trouble, so we need unity somehow, so why not a shared love of travel and people?!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been meaning to sign up since a friend told me about this, but never got around to it till now. In a way my couch has been surfable for a while in so far as I take people in to crash pretty frequently, but now we're traveling to Ireland on a tight budget, so I thought a little more structure would be good.

Music: everything! people say it's a cop out to say that, but it really is true.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a woman who's son had just died in a car accident tell all of us at the vigil to send our love and thoughts to the boy who'd been driving because he needed them more than her son right now.

Um... If you put ramen noodles and spice in a coffee caraffe and then run water through the coffee machine you've got ramen soup in a pinch!
