Hey there! I'm a Turkish guy studying computer science in McGill University in Montréal. I've lived in Turkey all my life(13 years in Antalya and 5 years in Istanbul) before coming to Canada. I hope to program video games one day. I've traveled to many places, but there's still so much to see and so many people to meet! My current travel goals are to see all around Russia and Japan.

If you'd host me, I'd love to learn all about your city/culture/language, provided you want to show me around. I always keep the space I live in clean and tidy, and I treat any host's house the same way. I'd be more than happy to help with chores and pay for expenses during my stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's easy to travel to countries, to stay in hotels and to do touristy things provided you have the money for it. Meeting people and having a glimpse of their lives is an invaluable experience, and travel is all about those glimpses and those people you meet.

Teach, Learn, Share

Computer science: This is my main passion in life, so I'd be willing to teach or discuss anything you're interested in from how a computer works to the current state and ethics of artificial intelligence.

History: I'm a huge history nerd, and it's something I can talk about for hours on end. I'm particularly interested in the middle ages and colonialism, so I'd love to tell you all about that, and learn about any and every bit of knowledge you have to offer about history, especially if it's the history of your own country!

Cooking: I'm no cook but I know the dishes of my country, and how to cook some of them. I can teach you how to cook an easy Turkish dish!

Languages: I'd love to teach you any of the languages I know, and to learn some of the languages you speak, particularly the local one.
