About Me
Currently Backpacking Latin America, month 5
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m currently backpacking across Latin America, exploring new cultures, connecting with people, and practicing my Spanish (todavía aprendiendo, pero con ganas 😄). I was born in Iran and grew up in the U.S., so I’ve always been surrounded by different cultures, and traveling gives me the same feeling of openness, curiosity, and discovery.
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love meeting people who can show me their city through their eyes. I’m a social, creative person who genuinely enjoys good deep conversations, sharing stories, and learning how others live. I’m especially passionate about making real human connections with locals, something you can’t get from hostels or hotels.
I travel slow, appreciate good vibes, and love anything that involves nature, exploring local spots, or discovering hidden gems. I’m also learning Spanish and a bit of Portuguese and love practicing with locals

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good vibes, curiosity, and real conversation. I love connecting with people and learning about their city, culture, and daily life—and I always bring that energy with me.
I’m a bartender back home (+ other things) so I can make you a personalized cocktail based on your taste (or something non-alcoholic if you prefer). I love creating drinks that match someone’s personality—it’s one of my favorite ways to connect.
I can also share stories from traveling across Latin America, growing up between Iran and the U.S., and all the random adventures that come with backpacking.
If you want to practice English, I’m happy to help. And if you’re patient, we can practice Spanish together too—I’m learning!
Most importantly, I’m respectful, clean, easygoing, and always grateful for the opportunity to be welcomed into someone’s home. I bring openness, kindness, and a desire to contribute positively to the space.
