My name is Omie Elizabeth Dale, and I'm 21 years old.

I was born and bred in the UK (although I am Gambian, Irish and English), but moved to Germany for 5 months, working as an Au-Pair, before going to Tanzania for 3 months - I then caught the bug and ended up studying in France (Sciences Po Paris) for 2 years.
I'm studying a few subjects but mainly on the political/social science side and I'm super interested in international development and social entrepreneurship. I'm also a vegan and constantly on the hunt for the greasiest vegan fast food I can find.
I'm currently having a year out in London where I'm working in Legal Aid, and I also work part-time as a lifeguard.

Interests

I like to read...a lot. I don't read as much now as I did when I used to actually have a lot of free time, but I'm always up for something new to read - so if you have a recommendation let me know!
I follow a lot of politics and try to keep up with what's going on in the world as much as I possibly can
I do also like to party, and try to experience the nightlife when I go to a new city! But I love to eat (and drink) - so always try to eat the local food and drink the local alcohol of wherever I'm visiting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I apparently have a lot of stories to tell relative to how young I am (my host mother in Germany thought I could write a book full of anecdotes) - but I don't always talk just for the sake of talking! I love deep discussions and debates with other people in order to see other points of views, so I guess this is something we could share together as well.

But most importantly, I can share laughter and my good company with you (well I hope so).
