Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Openness to the World: To me, traveling is not just moving from one point on the map to another. It's an opportunity to immerse myself in the diversity of cultures, tastes, and traditions that make the world so amazing. I'm always open to new experiences and ready to find inspiration in every corner of the planet.
Shared Adventures: Traveling solo is great, but it's even better to share those moments with others. I believe in the power of shared adventures and the exchange of ideas. Meeting new people along the way always brings something new and often leaves unforgettable memories.
Value of Local Knowledge: Local residents are true experts in their culture, and I always strive to learn from them. Exploring local traditions and customs helps me understand and respect the diversity of our world. I cherish the opportunity to immerse myself in an authentic experience and share my knowledge with others.
Respect and Open-Mindedness: Everyone is different, and that's what makes our world interesting and rich. I always approach others with respect and interest. My philosophy is based on being open to new perspectives and a willingness to learn from others.
Freedom and Independence: Traveling for me is a chance to break free from routine and open up new horizons. I value the freedom they provide and aim to create my own route and explore the world at my own pace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable experiences I've had was a 43-hour train journey from Urumqi to Beijing, traveling without a reserved seat. It was a true adventure that took me through the heart of China.
The journey was an immersion in the daily life and culture of the country. From the moment I stepped on that train, I was surrounded by the hustle and bustle of fellow travelers, each with their own stories to tell. The train carriages were crowded, and I had to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of passengers who came and went at various stops along the way.
As the train traversed the vast and diverse landscapes of China, from the arid deserts to the lush countryside, I had the opportunity to connect with locals, share meals, and hear their stories. I learned to appreciate the beauty of the ordinary moments that unfolded during the journey, from watching the changing scenery to savoring simple train station snacks.
Despite the challenges and discomfort of standing for such an extended period, this adventure gave me a unique perspective on the people and the vastness of China. It was a lesson in resilience, adaptability, and the kindness of strangers who shared their food, stories, and laughter.
This 43-hour train ride remains a cherished memory that reflects the essence of my love for travel — the unexpected, the shared experiences, and the boundless curiosity that drives me to explore the world.
