ABOUT ME

I'm new to this. But better late than never. Unfortunately I haven't travelled for a while.

I stay with my family in Mumbai, and that means there is no room in the house for hosting people. My loss! Thus I plan on meeting some surfers and showing them around the city, hanging out, watching Bollywood movies, etc.

I enjoy good conversation, and can talk about anything out there to talk about. I'm slightly introverted, I must warn you, but once I start talking there is no end to it. That's an exaggeration, but you're welcome to experience it first hand. I like reading, writing, singing, making short films, trekking, being fit, and I'm a total foodie - which kind of contradicts the 'being fit' aspect. I try to strike a balance.

I also enjoy company of different people. I'm unassuming and helpful. I wish I had a pet cat, but living with family has restrictions.

I'm currently trying to figure myself out. I haven't quite figured what I want to do as a career. That means I have lots of free time to socialise!

A year ago, I was studying at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada, doing film-production and creative writing. My experience there was the best thing to have happened to me. Met some real gems of people!

Hence, I want to meet more people, and share my experience of India with them, and learn about them and where they come from.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Canada I stayed at my friends' place in Montreal and Quebec city. Was an amazing experience. Travelled with my friends. Love the 'feeling'! My friend Clotilde would always 'feel' the vibes of a place as if they were material physical things.!

Movies: American Beauty, No Country for Old Men, Lagaan, Lord of the Rings, 500 Days of Summer etc. Special mention to Game of Thrones.

Music: Justin Timberlake, The Strokes, Radiohead, some pop music and easy listening, etc.

Books: Game of Thrones, Kazuo Ishiguro, Brave New World, Patrick Rothfuss, Dan Brown, and some young adult fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped outside in negative 15 degrees in Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario! Yeah, and ice-skated in Toronto. haha. I skated more on my butt than on my feet! Still cherish it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning Spanish myself. A beginner. Not good enough to teach yet. But I can tell you about Indian culture and philosophy. Also about Indian cinema, and pretty much a lot of general knowledge. I'm definitely well-read.
