About Me
Hey Rovers, I'm Omkar Dalvi, hailing from the vibrant lanes of Wagholi, Pune. You could say my life took a few detours from the usual path – I actually dropped out of college in my final year and then quit a 4-year career in the service industry. Why? Because the call of the road was just too strong to ignore!
For the past eight years, I've been living and breathing travel. I've crisscrossed diverse landscapes, chased countless waterfalls, discovered hidden offbeat gems, and embraced everything from solo backpacking to vibrant group tours and challenging treks. I've explored ancient forts, majestic mountain passes, soaked in different cultures, pushed my limits with various adventurous activities, and wandered through many states across India.
My journey has led to some pretty unique experiences. Imagine walking over 3600+ kilometers along the sacred Narmada River for its Parikrama – a truly spiritual and challenging trek. Or taking some of the longest train journeys India offers, like the epic Himsagar Express, just to see where the tracks lead.
These experiences have taught me that the real magic of travel lies beyond checklists and rigid plans. It's in the spontaneous detours, the unexpected encounters, and the quiet moments of awe that etch themselves into your memory.
