To explore the world and maybe find my place in it, too... At the moment also to get to know some American couchsurfers!

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy person who wants to live every day like it's my last...not meaning I'm impulsive and reckless though :D But when I go to sleep at night, I feel like I have lived the day in the best way I could. I enjoy little things; smell of wet grass, good coffee in the mornings, warm days when you can walk barefoot, goat cheese, Lush soaps, taking care of my plants, walking home from a bar at night and discussing with friends all the way.. or just stay quiet :)

I love food (especially cheese!) and want to experience all the different food cultures in the world (although my diet is mostly vegetarian). In other countries the most interesting thing to me is (besides eating :D) the everyday life of local people. Couchsurfing is a great way to get to see how people live and spend their time normally.
And of course, I love adventures, surprises and new experiences in general :D In Helsinki, I walk everywhere. It's a good way to relax, think, keep my legs working, save money and enjoy being outdoors. When I travel, I want to walk as much as possible as I also see more details of the cities that way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got excited about CS when I lived at my friend's place for a couple of months. He had just joined CS and during my stay there were a lot of other people too, surfing his couch. We spent some time together and it was a lot of fun. I thought I want to have that at my place too!

I don´t have much CS experience yet but I hope to meet nice people and get a lot of experiences around the world. I also hope I can be helpful to people who come to Helsinki. I love to help others out and make them feel welcome.
