About Me

Currently living in a much smaller apartment, so can't host for now :(

ABOUT ME

I'm active man who is always doing something. My wish is to travel as many countries as possible. When I'm at home, in Slovakia, I do lot of sports like hiking, gliding, biking, skiing, etc. In the summer I'm usually participating in rebuilding one of the nicest Slovak castles, the Uhrovsky Hrad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because its the best way to meet people around the world, explore the culture of another country from first hand and also save a lot of money ;)

Interests

traveling, hiking, gliding, beer, shisha, programing

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is rock. But I also listen to any thing that is good. So I also love klassical music, reggae and all music that has some energy. I also read lot of books, especially Prattchet, King, Grisham and Cook. And of course, I really like to watch movies, but there I have no conditions about what it shoud be. It only have to be good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done several mad things, including hitchhiking in Palestine, Iraq and war torn Kurdistan (east Tureky), working one day as homeless seller of newspaper (just to see the reactions from people), learned to ride a motorbike on the highest road in the world in himalayas and lot more. But maybe the craziest thing I have ever done, was to buy an old Skoda Favorit, with two of my friends and travel 18 000 km with it to central asia, to countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan and Tajikistan and to cross the Pamir highway. Also, none of us spoke russian or any other language spoken in those parts and none of us had any technical skills to repair the car.
