hello there, i'm kevin. many of the traveling experiences that I've been fortunate to have in my life have led me to care about how cities prepare for the future. My desire to travel only grows stronger!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be as engaged and respectful guest as possible--I really do travel with the intention of getting to know a place and its residents as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did an immense amount of traveling a few years back before moving to my current home of Portland, Oregon. I had a few couchsurfing experiences, and enjoyed them greatly. Two years ago, I spent four months traveling around Europe, with WWOOFing and couchsurfing experience in France, Belgium, Holland, and England. I'm preparing to go to Nicaragua next summer.

Now I'm eager to learn more about New Orleans!

Interests

running, a good healthy meal, progressive politics, gardening, old architecture, urban planning, live jazz, the new york times, discovering places unlike my own, alternative transportation, realistic idealism.
