I'm a historian, English teacher, writer, musician and freelance journalist.

PHILOSOPHY

This is the one life we have, and it's to be enjoyed
whenever possible. I'm not religious or dogmatically spiritual, in fact I consider myself to be basically an atheist. I believe in myself and people who make interesting artwork. I definitely take note of happiness when I experience it.

I like to lend helping hands to fellow travelers. I'm a pretty bad cook, but I can wash dishes like you can't believe and can provide you with many other forms of help, politeness and a decent conversation.

兴趣

Studying, reading, music, writing, hiking. I love to try new things. I am interested in organizing myself, educating myself, making myself healthier, enjoying myself more, and seeing others do the same. I struggle with a lot of this, though.

I'll digest mostly anything. I love documentaries, Stanley Kubrick films, Lou Reed, Henry Rollins, Fever Ray, Arthur and Henry Miller.

My goal is to publish a really good novel within the next two years, release a short stories and an EP this year and in the long run, start up a publishing company to release my work and the work of my friends.

It's a bit soon for me to be listing my laurels, but that's okay. I have skydived in New Zealand, tiptoed in North Korea and cave explored in Iceland, but man oh man, sometimes eating a really good stick of chocolate will do the trick.
