People say I'm a pretty happy and easy going sort of guy.

I love to have a laugh with just about anyone

I got my first dose of the travel bug in the Beautiful Byron Bay on the east coast of Oz when I was 17 and I haven't looked back ever since.

traveling really is the spice of life for me and meeting genuinely nice people from all over the world plays a big part of what makes traveling so good.

I love the thought of a great adventure so I am up for just about anything!

I moved over to the UK in 1999 and met my lovely lady "Hope", we have been traveling the world together since 2001 and have loved every minute of it.

I hope to be meeting some of you couch surfers out there sometime soon!

You always have to create your own luck in life it's no accident!!!!! take your chances when they come!

It's nice to be nice to others, you get so much more out of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My very Couchsurfing experience was way back in 95-96 whilst I was living in Canada I overheard the 5 blokes I was just introduced too talking about going to Jamaica for a holiday and after a couple of very cold months that idea sounded great to me.

So I walked over to them and said " Hey guys! would you mind if I came along", they turned around and gave me a weird look and said "well...if you are keen? meet us at the airport" on such and such a date.

So I did!!!!

We ended up having an awesome time together in Negrill, and when we got back to Lake Louise they pointed to their couch and said it was all mine!

I ended up staying with them for 5 months!!!!! I kept in touch with one of them and he ended up staying with me in Oz for a year before we went to the UK together, We have been best of mates ever since.

Interests

Skiing, climbing, hiking, traveling, writing and meeting people of course.

I love the mountains just as much as I love the coast and I love the bush/jungles just as much as I love the deserts, it's all good as far as I'm concerned!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

trying to get a good nights sleep out amongst the lions, hippos, elephants and everything else in the middle of Moremi national park in the Okovanga delta in nothing but a tent!!!!
